Native habitats are low-water, resilient landscapes that are suited to Colorado’s current climate and support native insects, birds and other wildlife. Come join us for a presentation and Q&A with former Eiber neighbor and professional horticulturist and native landscaping designer, Michelle Simpson, about how we can change the world one yard at a time.

Michelle encourages people to start with a native grass meadow to create a “green matrix” that you can plant flowers, shrubs or trees right into. Learn options for removing sod, what grasses and plants work best, and how to get started.

Our location host, Lakewood United Methodist will be installing Michelle’s meadow kits late May so you’ll be able to see it coming up at this event!
