Mending Clinics
The Art of Mending – Mend it. Don’t Toss it. About once a month, Sustainable Eiber holds free mending clinics where you can bring in an item in need of basic mending (no zipper repair or replacements, no complicated alterations).
Join the mending team and mend items for others, or get your mending done and extend the life of your clothing, while at the same time meeting and socializing with neighbors. Donations are welcome and are used to support other sustainable activities in Eiber.
After a brief hiatus due to Covid19, mending clinics are back! We’re on the search for a good location within the Eiber neighborhood, so stay tuned…
