Healthy soils lead to healthy food and healthy people. Homemade compost can help create soil communities that use less water, decrease the effects of climate change, and eliminate the usage of chemical fertilizers & pesticides, while diverting precious organic resources from the landfill and returning valuable nutrients back to the earth.

Learn the basics of composting in community gardens and in your own backyard at this FREE class with a Master Composter from Denver Urban Gardens on building and encouraging a successful compost heap. Bring your compost-related questions, and maybe a sun hat and water bottle.
