The Sustainable Neighborhoods of Applewood, Eiber, and Morse Park are teaming together with the support of 3R Technology Solutions to bring another recycling event to the hood. You will be able to recycle most electronic items which plug in or run on batteries and all sizes of metal from bent nails to refrigerators to swing sets.

The event is FREE except for a $30 fee per TV or tube monitor, regardless of size. Cash or credit card will be accepted.

For your peace of mind, you might want to erase your hard drive first. According to Costco Connection from April, 2020, “use free software such as Eraser and CBL Data Shredder to properly erase your hard drive. A “factory reset” or “restore” should be fine for cell phones and tablets.”
